About Kris Moore
Kris Moore, M.D., specializes in sports medicine, knee and shoulder reconstruction, and trauma and fracture management. He chose to be an orthopaedic surgeon because it allows him to combine his interest in human biomechanics with personal care. Dr. Moore believes in being a strong patient advocate by educating patients and leading them through the treatment of their ailments. "I will always listen and give the best and most honest advice for each interaction," he says.
Dr. Moore received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in California. He completed his internship and residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He completed a fellowship at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. During his fellowship in sports medicine, Dr. Moore worked as a team physician for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He enjoys watching and participating in a variety of sports.

The provider or doctor I saw was fine. He sent me out for an MRI and that is twenty days out from the visit with him. That is crazy long time.

I was referred to Dr. Moore by my primary care doctor's office. He had an appointment right after I had an x-ray done for my knee pain. Dr. Moore was very attentive; he knew a good deal about my medical history; he was sensitive and understanding about my immediate concerns, and he treated my knee right away, with no waiting for any delay. He Is a very personable and friendly doctor. I would recommend him to anyone that needs orthopedic medical treatment.

Doctor Moore was easy to talk with about planning for a right knee replacement. He helped me to consider different options, such as one knee or 2 knee surgery at the same time. We also discussed my concerns about my right hip. When I left his office, I felt I had a clear, workable plan for future surgeries. I was able to schedule with his nurse immediately after he left, right there in the exam room. I appreciate that . Additionally, Dr Moore had a good level of empathy for my concerns. I felt he and his nurse allowed enough time to listen and answer all my questions.
