About Tabatha A. Schellenger

I am currently ANCC board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and see patients across the lifespan. I am currently a PMHNP at Providence Medical Group Behavioral Health. I have worked for Providence in various roles for 16+ years. I have degrees from the University of Alaska, Anchorage to include: Masters of Science in Nursing; Bachelors of Science in Nursing; and Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I have been working in the mental health field, within Alaska, for almost 20 years. I have worked in group homes, shelters, residential treatment settings, and inpatient psychiatric care. My graduate project included providing education and awareness on the topic of Non-suicidal self-injury to those who provide care to our adolescent population. Adolescent and young adult mental health is an area of focus for me although I enjoy seeing patients of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, gardening, baking, and fishing.
