I was in for an annual check up. I was surprised that it was completely hands free (example: no digital prostate exam) , but fine if the blood test can reflect all that is needed. The doctor was attentive to all my questions.

I've been terrified to go in each time, and he's been great helping me through it all. Each time I leave, I cry a little bit...relieved to be in good hands. I'm thankful as hell he is the caring, concerned professional-and kind human being-to help me get me pointed in a healthier direction. I love my care team. They are thorough and listen carefully to my concerns, and suggest steps that can be taken to improve my health. The doctor, the PA, my physical therapist, and all the support staff (including the woman who does blood draws) are all great. They don't rush me and provide prompt analysis of test results.

My experiences with Dr. Komisarz have always been pleasant and helpful. I am especially happy that he has recently begun studying geriatrics. As I have reached my senior years, I have have found that many doctors under 50 don't seem to understand the changing physical, social, and psychological challenges that seniors face. Several have been clearly annoyed by my inability to hear clearly and absorb information as quickly as I used to. MyCharts helps fix this problem, IF the doctor puts the relevant Information and instructions in the chart. I look forward continuing my medical care with a doctor young enough to care for me 'til the end, but eager to understand the special conditions and needs of the patients he is serving.
