The doctor was very good explaining my diagnose and explained what we needed to do. Medicine that he was going to prescribe was explained to me that some of the pros and cons but why I needed the medicine. Very well explained.

My first time establishing care with this dr and I found it to be a pleasant experience for a troublesome issue.

Only good things to say. He Listens and is knowledgable. He understands my unique situation in regards to my sports activity.

He was well informed, had prepared for my visit by reviewing specific results from my past heart tests going back eight years. I was very impressed and felt confident in his analysis and recommendations going forward.

This is the best service

I am extremely comfortable and confident with this physician. I feel he sincerely cares about me and my health issues. His goal is to keep me comfortable and as healthy as possible and I'm happy with that. He is a sincere caring person and does not make me feel like I am wasting his time. This has been a problem with other physicians the past couple of years, I guess, because of my age. I have a limited health care background and Dr Schoenkerman makes me feel that I'm still worthwhile. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Schoenkerman is a great doctor who listens and takes my condition seriously. I waited a long time for my appointment and was rushed because I was seen about an hour after my scheduled appointment. It is also difficult to get appointments, as wait lists are long.

He listened so carefully, saw me as a person, was knowledgeable about my history, and exhibited good humor too.The reception person interacted with another patient while I was in the lobby before my appointment. She was civil to him, but not at all compassionate or particularly kind to him. She definitely needs more coaching on interacting with patients.

Dr Schoenkerman was very wonderful. He had the medical records for my mother, he also went in to the system to retrieve other medical records from Tucson Arizona, that was very helpful for her appointment. He provide active listening and support towards my mother, including education regarding her history and current situation. The staff was very pleasant. We were provided care from the time we walked through the door.

I have been seeing various Providence providers over the past 5 years for several different medical needs and feel that I have been provided the best medical care possible. I live 80 milesTo the east of Portland but would travel a further distance to get medical care from my current Providence providers.
