About Brent L. Hoffman
Brent Hoffman, MD, decided to become a physician because he wanted the opportunity to improve the quality of people's lives.
Dr. Hoffman received his undergraduate degree in geology at the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital in Detroit.
In his free time, Dr. Hoffman enjoys skiing, backpacking, playing the guitar and reading.

I have always had good experiences with Dr. Hoffman. He's been my physician since before I came to providence. He Is the reason I came to providence. Only difficult experience was not related to Dr. Hoffman, its getting an appointment a little quicker. But I have heard that adequate staffing Is a problem, I understand that.

It was the best first appointment I have ever hady He was very thorough In reviewing and asking any questions regarding the information provided in my past records clearly he had done his homework we went ovs er my history and he had good questions and comments. I've been going to PMG-Clackmas for years and I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes after my appointment to be seen. This time I waited 20 minutes, so I knew the team must have been having a tough day - feeling the pressure of all the patients waiting.In spite of that, everyone seemed relaxed, cheerful and caring. They didn't rush my visit as they might have been tempted to do. They cared for me like I was the only patient there. So impressive! I've always loved the PMG-Clackmas team, and I love them even more now.

Dr. Hoffman has been my PCP for quite a while now -- since shortly before he began working at Providence, which I followed him to. I've rarely seen him more often than once a year for a checkup (something I suppose could change now that I'm in my 70s!) but he has always been pretty good at remembering the details of my situation, has always recommended remedies that have worked, and has always been easy to talk with.
