I first went to a neurologist at another healthcare facility because of consistent headaches - I left that appointment feeling like as soon as that doctor heard a handful of my comments, he said "its migraine, here's some meds," and he left. I felt completely dismissed by that other doctor. I came to see Dr. Wei after a recommendation from a friend. She was incredibly respectful, asked a lot of questions, and gave me incredible details about medications she was considering (she talked through how they might interact with what else I am on), how she came to the diagnosis that she did, and what a realistic timeline was for feeling better. I really appreciated that she was very straight forward about setting expectations - she told me which meds would take longer to have effect, and we discussed how we'll start with one pathway, but that the plan might change depending on how I react to it. I felt CARED for in this visit, which I had not experienced before. It actually made me quite emotional. She acknowledged the pain I am physically feeling, and told me she wanted to figure out the right solution for me. I felt very heard and respected, and am so glad I got an appointment with Dr. Wei. I am confident that I'll find headache relief with her help.

Dr Wei has been an amazing provider. Her scheduling team is always so friendly and helpful. I have definitely recommended her and her office to anyone that has mentioned needing a neurologist.

I have extremely difficult to treat migraines and other headache types. Dr. Wei is always very good a listening to me about the difficultly in treating my migraines especially with this new headache I have developed. I've had other neurologists (from when I lived in Idaho) who would have blamed this on my lifestyle or other things and would have sent me home with some instruction like "get better sleep." She provided me with a treatment option that worked for me.

Dr. Wei listens to what I say, what I am feeling and doesn't give me that questioning look.

My current issue is not life threatening or something that had to be treated right away but it was scary/concerning to me. Dr. Wei and her staff were all very understanding and provided me with the results of my tests while also continuing to address my ongoing if frustrating migraines. She even clarified a question I had about the radiologist's report for me.

And will give you a treatment plan, to alleviate and control the pain and gives you the solution to help me as a patient relieve some of the discomfort that I have to live with some of the symptoms. Dr. Wei was very knowledgeable, and we talked about the two Transient Expressive Aphasia/Word Finding Difficulty episodes I had as well as my migraine history.
