About John F. Zurasky

Dr. Zurasky is a neurologist specializing in stroke and neurocritical care. He joined Providence after serving as the medical director of the stroke program at Intermountain Healthcare and now serves as the medical director for Providence Brain and Spine Institute. He also cares for patients in our Neurocritical Care Unit.

Dr. Zurasky earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at University of Washington in Seattle and a fellowship in stroke and neurologic intensive care at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Dr. Zurasky is board-certified in neurology, vascular neurology and neurocritical care. Before dedicating himself to the medical field at age 30, Dr. Zurasky worked for a stock brokerage and taught English in Japan.
